In the summer of 2014 I made two bicycle trips zigzagging the German islands Usedom, Rügen and Hiddensee (all connected via ferries). En route I picked up lots of scraps and trash from which I built my very first assemblaged sculptures later that year. They were photographed by Malte Spindler.
